The Mansudae Grand Monument, unveiled in 1972 to mark the 60th birthday of Kim Il-sung, features two colossal bronze statues of Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il standing 20 metres tall on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea — a nation of over 26 million people in East Asia. One of the most visited and politically significant sites in the DPRK, it is flanked by mosaic murals depicting Korean revolutionary scenes. A powerful subject for travel art collectors.
